So I haven’t updated my blog in a while about the diet! Did you think I cheated? That I stopped?

Nope! Just been way too busy.

I’m currently following the 85% compliance policy. Then it’s okay if I go slightly off the diet, but I need to stay within that percentage. But truly, I have complied much more than 85%.

When we went away for the weekend I stuck to the diet. The only times I went off is with a glass of wine or Hard Cider. But, it was worth it.

Even when we went to a buffet, I stuck to salad and the grilled meat that normally goes on tacos. Pineapple for dessert…yum!

The thing I am enjoying the most are the salads I do for lunch. I’m trying to be really creative and it’s different every day. I add walnuts or cashews, meats, veggies, and some dried fruit. I’ve really enjoyed them and if anything I feel I am treating myself rather than eating the same ol’ PB&J.

Last night I made some sort of stir fry and the roasted sweet potatoes. I LOVE the roasted sweet potatoes and can eat way too many. Tim however is not a fan. But, our deal is I cook what I can eat and he can supplement as needed. We’re both at peace with that agreement- no arguments!

So, I continue!
