No matter how long my day- I can always count on coming home to an eager dog and a unimpressed cat.

There is something wonderfully comforting about the predictable. I’m not afraid of what mood I may find these creatures in and I’m not afraid of not knowing how to please them. They just want attention and my love (and perhaps a treat or two). 

I’m grateful today for the predictable.
