Today I’m grateful for the courage of Senator Chris Murphy from Connecticut. He filibustered in the United States Senate for fifteen hours in order to demand action for what is right and to stand up to organizations like the NRA. Senator Murphy wants to help stop the gun violence that occurs everyday in America. I admire him and others who continue to try and make a difference. That’s how progress happens.
