Dearest Little One,
Well. With each passing week, you are getting bigger and bigger. And your protective carriage also gets bigger and bigger. But with each growing inch on me, I know it means you are getting healthier and stronger. I want you to come into the world as healthy as can be. I read weekly updates which say how big you must be and what the newest growth spurt or development is this week. I imagine your little hair and the growing fat that will protect you.
We worked on your room some more this past weekend. Slowly we are getting there! I have a feeling you will enjoy whatever you find so I am not going to worry that you won’t like the color scheme or the furniture. I think you will learn to love it as we do- and if you don’t- then when you choose too, you can help us redecorate so it fits your personality.
Your book collection is growing. Your Grandma Betty gave you a new book that will be bigger than you are! But it’s all about how we will love each other forever and always. Your Dad read it when he was younger as well (and he apologizes for the “artwork” he added during his childhood).
We narrowed our possible names for you down from 40, to 10. We will find the perfect name for you. And your name will be spoken by many, many times for many years to come. Please just know that we have put a lot of thought, conversation, and brainstorming into picking the name that best fits you.
You are not always very active in my tummy. I sometimes will eat or drink a bit of sugar and lay down just to feel your reassuring kicks. You tend to be busiest in late mornings or late evenings. Perhaps this means you will be very mellow and enjoy sleeping in with Mom and Dad? We can hope!
I look forward to meeting you dear one.
Love, Mom
Me, too! I look forward to meeting you, too! Grandma Ann
