Today I'm thankful I did not fall asleep earlier than was appropriate.

Today I'm feeling grateful for small rays of sunshine that shine through the dark clouds.

Today I'm grateful for quiet days, chatting about the significant and the seemingly mundane with those I love, and for times where there is no set schedule- just time "to be".

Today I'm thankful for the gift of someone saying, "It's going to be okay" when the whole world seems upside down.  

Today I'm grateful for honesty. Honesty about feelings, or even honesty about someone's tights being on backwards. Without honesty, I would have had a very different day.

I'm grateful today for cozy slippers. Small pleasure to calm even the hardest days.
