Feeling grateful today for the lives of those killed in the Charleston, SC church shooting. I’m grieving for them but am grateful for the lives they touched and their strong faith. I will be thinking of them and their families in the days ahead.

The killer killer apparently has said that he almost did not do it because they were nice to him. It is tragic that he did not follow that part of his inner voice. But the people in that church were true to their calling as loving children of God in receiving him with grace. They are to be commended.
