Today I’m grateful for music.

I’m going to miss my commutes in the morning and evening four days a week. I won’t miss the driving part, or the traffic, or having to leave early to get to work on time (and then still arrive late). But I will miss listening to music on my drives.

I’m a lyric person. I can’t enjoy a song unless I know and feel the lyrics (few exceptions I will admit). So I have a playlist I play as I drive back and forth. I skip the songs that don’t apply to my feelings on a certain day and listen to others on repeat.

I’m so grateful for artists that can write and sing so clearly and with so much honesty. I’m grateful that they share their talents so that people like me can listen to their songs on repeat to process their day.

Yes. I am grateful.

  1. Music is indeed a “Gift for one’s spirit” and the ones who compose, play, write, & sing….have the ability to inspire and heal and create joy in soooo many ways!!
