Today I’m feeling grateful for uneventful moments.
It’s funny. At times when I have the most I could write about- whether it be what I am grateful for, life lessons, or about experiences- the less time I have to write. But during the uneventful moments, I have time to write down my thoughts and reflections. I enjoy those moments of reflection.
Unfortunately, I haven’t had a lot of uneventful moments recently. Moving is a MAJOR event and I still haven’t caught up to what I “should” be doing right now in life…sending Christmas cards, buying and wrapping gifts, decorating the tree and house, soaking in the holiday music, seeing friends, baking cookies, and the feeling of wonderment that happens during this season when I allow myself to feel it.
I’m letting go of the “shoulds” this season and just trying to stay above water. But, more than ever, I am grateful for the uneventful moments when I can just breathe, reflect, and write.
“Grace Moments” are often found in our uneventful moments……they are some of the best gifts for our spirits when we most need them.
